Thomas Hawkeye Valdez, better know as “Coach Hawk” is an award winning golf coach that focuses on helping players achieve their goals.

Meet Coach Hawk

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Coach Hawk brings 27 years of experience in the golf industry, including 20 years as a professional instructor. For a decade, he taught at GOLFTEC in Houston, TX, where he was recognized for his exceptional contributions to golf instruction. His accolades include being named one of Golf Digest's Best Young Instructors in the country from 2020 to 2022, as well as one of the Best Teachers in Texas from 2022 to 2025. Thomas's expertise has also been featured in Golf Digest, with contributions in the 2020 issue (#1) titled "20 Tips You’ve (Probably) Never Heard Before" and the September 2023 issue, "Stay Down a Beat Longer."

One-on-one lessons include trackman analysis, goal planning and sequenced lessons.

Golf Schools

Half-day and full day golf schools with focus on short game, putting, contact and ball flight. Golf Schools are perfect for the on the go busy golfer.

Junior Golf

PGA Junior League, junior camps and monthly junior classes available. Juniors will learn to be athletes, improve their skills with games and competitions.
