About Coach Hawkeye

Bio

Coach Hawkeye is originally from El Paso, Texas and has been in the golf industry for 25 years, teaching professionally for 18 of them!

Coach Hawkeye spent the last 10 years teaching at GOLFTEC in Houston, TX where he earned awards for outstanding accomplishments in instruction including 2020-2022 Golf Digest Best Young Instructors in the country, Golf Digest 2021-2023 (31st) Best Teachers in Texas, Outstanding Achievements in Instruction 2015-2022, Eva Salgreen Award for Service 2018.  Coach Hawkeye has also been published in Golf Digest 2020 issue #1 “20 tips You’ve (Probably) never heard of” and Golf Digest 2023 September issues “Stay Down a Beat Longer”.
